Hunts Hot Spring

General Description: A concrete and stone hot box next to a creek that needs to be cooled by the creek water.

Accessibility: Year round but one mile down a dirt road that requires high clearance and four wheel drive and should not be attempted when wet.

Restrictions: On private property and therefore no camping but the owner allows soaking

Elevation: 2000 feet.

Visited 3 times in 2013 and

Visited 3 times in 2013 and the tubs are fine.
They even added a new tub & deck at the closest source.
Please do not camp within sight of the tubs, and NO FIRES.
Locals can be unfriendly to visitors if bad behavior is seen.
This is one of my favorite soaks.
Please pack out any trash found.
