The Hot Spring:
Snively Hot Springs are on the upper part of the Owyhee River Canyon near the Idaho boarder. Extremely hot water over 140 degrees F springs next to the Owyhee River and flows into the river, during the spring runoff the sources can get covered by the river. The hot water mixes with the cold water in volunteer built rock and boulder lined sand and gravel pools. The hot water tends to float on the top so constant mixing with your hand is required to keep an even temperature.
Unfortunately Snively seems to be too popular and over used, probably because it is adjacent to a paved road near decently populated areas. Evidence is that it is closed at night and large parking lot with BLM toilets. In the evenings it can get overcrowded with families and despite the closure can get filled with drunk kids at night. Even though it can get overwhelming with people it is a beautiful spot where you can soak in the Owyhee Canyon and worth a visit.

a captcha plugin for my comment form? I'm using the same blog platform as yours and I'm having trouble finding one?
Thanks a lot!
